On June 11, 2020, Hebei Forest Variety Approval Committee organized relevant experts to conduct an on-site test on the 3 new sweet cherry strains released by Institute of Changli Fruit Tree of HAAFS. Experts carried out field test at 2 experimental bases(Laoting Chengqi Modern Agriculture Development Co,.LTD. and Changli Fruit Tree Institute Kongzhuang Base), listened to research group’s report and measured the basic conditions of cherry trees and the yield per plant. They also used machines to test fruit quality, hardness, soluble solid content and edible rate. Experts all agreed that the 3 strains of big fruit, crisp flesh, high yield passed the on-site test.

The 3 new sweet cherry strains were named as Changhuazicui Changhuazixia and Wanmilu separately.
