’Jihua 16’ was approved through the national identification in 2015, and approved by Hebei Province in 2016. The demonstrated yield is over 600 kg per mu. The average oil content is 55.40% and the oleic acid content is 77.5%. The ratio of oleic acid and linoleic acid is 14.1. It was regarded as one of the 100 major agricultural science and technology achievements in the 2019 National Agricultural Science and Technology Achievements Transformation Conference. The variety was selected in 2020 China agriculture and rural major new technology new products and new equipment, in 2020 China agriculture and rural science and technology development summit forum and China modern agriculture development forum. It is believed that ‘Jihua 16’ has solved the technical and industrial problems of simultaneous improvement of oleic acid, yield and resistance of peanut varieties, and plays an important role in the structural reform of oil supply side in China.
